NOW Charleston is a local news podcast created, hosted and produced by Sam Spence. It publishes every Monday, Wednesday and Friday, and is available online and in all the major podcast players, including Apple Podcasts, Spotify and more.

As editor and web editor for the Charleston City Paper, Sam earned several honors from the South Carolina Press Association for news, opinion and food writing.

Sam grew up in Charlotte and graduated from College of Charleston, studying political science as well as historic preservation and community planning.
